Meet the team of Tyma Trachtenberg Dental. Our mission is to serve those in the Doylestown and Buckingham areas with an experienced and thorough approach to dentistry. The average tenure of our staff is over 10 years. That’s because their input is heard, and their experience is respected by our dentists. The staff will note and listen to your concerns, and make sure the doctors are aware of them. This mutual respect among our team members is one of the things that sets Tyma Trachtenberg Dental apart.
A high level of commitment is required to be worthy of our patients’ trust, and our experienced team shares a passion for patient care and the important job they’re doing. You’re likely to see our team members around town supporting local causes and volunteering their time alongside the dentists at a free dental clinic at the Doylestown Hospital for those in need. Maria, RDH, AS
Maria has extensive experience in advanced hygienic treatments, including periodontal therapy for patients with gum disease. She enjoys being a health care provider and especially enjoys helping her patients feel at ease during exams and treatments. A graduate of Montgomery County Community College, she regularly attends continuing education courses. Maria is married with two daughters.
Ann, RDH, AS
Along with general dentistry, Ann has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of dentistry from pediatrics to periodontal care, and puts special emphasis on providing gentle and customized care for each patient. A graduate of Temple University, she loves practicing in the Doylestown area, keeping up with her patients’ busy lives and volunteering at her children’s school.
Tonia, RDH, BS
Tonia has 20+ years of comprehensive general dentistry experience as a dental hygienist. With a degree from Bloomsburg University, she also has a degree from Northampton College in Dental Hygiene. Tonia enjoys continuing education to keep up with the latest in dentistry, keeping up with patients, and trying to keep up with her son Nate who keeps her busy with baseball, swimming and scouts.
Melissa, RDH, BS
Melissa has almost 3 decades of experience. After graduating from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, she worked with a periodontal practice before moving to Doylestown and working with “the great team” at The Center for Contemporary Dental Health. Melissa is married with two daughters, Madeline and Rachel.
When it comes to dentistry, Janine’s passion is making her patients feel comfortable and knowledgeable about their oral health, and educating them about the oral-systemic link. She regularly attends continuing education courses to further her knowledge. After receiving a degree from the University of Massachusetts, she received licenses for Dental Hygiene and Anesthesia from Montgomery County Community College.
Wendy, EFDA, AS
With a degree as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant from Manor College, you’ll most likely encounter Wendy assisting Dr Tyma with complex dental restorations and state-of-the-art treatments. Married with two children, Cassie and Buddy, Wendy loves her work as well as time away with her family at a home in the Poconos.
Anne, EFDA, AS
Anne likes the process of getting to know patients while helping to create aesthetically-pleasing restorations that can make meaningful differences in their lives. With an expanded functions dental assistant degree from Manor College, she works with the doctors on a variety of complex procedures. Anne lives on a beautiful Bucks County farm with her husband, Joe.
Denise, Dental Assistant
Denise is an experienced dental assistant with a background in several types of dental practices. She continues her educational pursuits through classes and seminars and by reading about the latest advances in the field. Her major focus has always been the care and education of patients. Denise is also a volunteer at the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic. She is married and her two sons are currently serving in the U.S. Air Force.
Kim, Dental Assistant
A dental assistant since the age of 19, patient comfort is of utmost importance to Kim. Kim has years of experience in orthodontics and is certified for sleep and airway concerns (TMD). The most rewarding aspect of dentistry for Kim is helping to change smiles and knowing how that changes patients’ lives. This is Kim’s second time working for Tyma Trachtenberg. Her experience working at other offices prompted her to return to Tyma Trachtenberg after 12 yrs with a renewed appreciation for the practice’s up-to-date techniques and technologies and their unique dedication to a patient’s overall health. “This is where I really want to be.”
Shannon, Treatment Coordinator
With over 12 yrs experience as a treatment coordinator, Shannon loves being able to help patients find the best ways to handle the financial investment of achieving a healthy smile. She lends her expertise to many dental consultations and is always ready to answer patients’ questions about ongoing financial arrangements. Outside of the office, Shannon keeps herself busy with a very busy toddler.
Sue, Patient Coordinator
As a patient coordinator, Sue helps patients schedule the dental care they need in their busy lives. She is a wonderful go-to resource whenever a patient has questions about treatment.
Jeanne-Marie, Patient Coordinator
A great advocate of our dental practice, Jeanne was a long-time patient of Tyma Trachtenberg Dental before becoming a member of the practice’s “terrific” team. She is a great resource for patients, and enjoys helping patients take advantage of all that the practice offers.
